Made by winemaker/grape grower Steve Matthiasson, the wine exhibits a full and rich style. Elegant and concise, with bright fruit aromas of plums and bitter blackberries, while showing delicate flashes of lavender and herbs. Smell black cherries, leather and light coffee from 20 months in oak. The finish is really where the seduction begins; perfect balance of tannins and acidity showing enjoyment now but makes one wonder if the wine can't develop another 20 years.
